Don’t go if bartender miguel isn’t working. He makes the experience at the even better. Definitely ask for him when you’re there. Always smiling, always a good time, always perfect drinks!

I came to dance and drink... and boy did this place hit the spot! The dance floor is a great size, shying away from the micro dance floors or table laden areas that give you no room for elbow space; that are very common in the area. The drinks were great! (I drink liquor no beer here) and at a very reasonable price I found myself chugging back water for the end of the night. This though, did not put a dent in my wallet at all. The DJ was off the chain and their promoter Victor Amorusso was working to get everyone excited and moving on the dance floor. The place is a definite thumbs up and a place you should check out for some great fun! I definitely reccomend you grab some friends or a sexy date and head over for an adventurous night!

This place is great any day of the week! Chill Monday with karaoke, tuesdays with some country line dancing, Wednesday with some good Top 40 DJ music, Thursday - Saturday different djs with great music as well. Weekends are a little more packed with the exception of Tuesday since country night is quite popular! There is always good deals and specials for drinks at this place and you can always count for beer to be ice cold which to me is a definite must have. The environment at this place is always nice and welcoming. There are plenty of things to do on the chill nights; shoot some pool, throw some darts, swing a little fooseball, play some jumbo or regular sized jenga, and even enjoy some chess or a game of poker. This place has it all!

Ok, last night(28DEC2025 8pm) I came to The Bar for a work Christmas party. Sick, hadn't been back in a long time and was glad to come back. Yoo, the place looks sooo nice now. It's got a dope remodel worth checking out for sure(wish I took pics but i'ma guy lol). And ok, back to main part. Up till then the best old fashioned I've ever had was from a fancy restaurant at the Miami International Airport. Then I asked John, in a really funny awkward fashion(thank you btw with helping me remember the drink name lmao) if ya'll had it and he said yes. Awesome! And ya'll!! When I tell you that he made that drink sooooo great! I ain't lying!! He out did that fancy restaurant by miles!! Left them in the dust for real for real!! 100/10 will return just for John's amazing old fashions 💯👌🏽 Just gotta figure out his work schedule 🤔

Bachata Night at The Bar in Brownsville is where it’s at! If you’re looking for the perfect mix of good music, good vibes, and a crowd that actually shows up to dance, this is the spot. The DJ kept the bachata flowing all night—Romeo, Aventura, Prince Royce, classics, remixes, everything you need to stay on that dance floor. The energy was smooth and fun, the staff was super attentive, and the drinks hit just right without breaking the bank. The whole place felt alive… like Brownsville finally has a true Latin-night gem. Whether you’re a beginner, a dancer with some spice, or just there to enjoy the music, you’re gonna have a blast. Highly recommend Bachata Night—definitely coming back! 💃🏽🔥🕺🏽

Was karaoke night alot of singers great crowd. Friendly staff. Drink specials was good overall had a good time would definitely recomend and will be back. No complains good decent place.
